The 2020 Intrepid comes from three clones of Syrah 383, 174 and 877, across 5 different blocks. The complexities of dark and rich fruit from 383, intertwined with the tension and brilliance from clone 174, and the textural mastery from clone 877, is the apex when it comes to the sum of all parts. The 2020 vintage is a thrilling array of explosive black and blue fruits, integrated with baking spices, leather, and chocolate. Intrepid’s full-bodied richness along with a multi-dimensional mouthfeel and ripe tannins, allow for this wine to be seductively graceful, while continuing to flirt in its perfection of purity for several years to come.
