The grapes from this extremely limited bottling come from two very distinct blocks on our estate vineyard, blocks 9A and 9B. Block 9A is a Spanish Garnacha clone planted on our only northwest slope. The neighboring block, 9B, is an Alban clone that runs directly along the ridge at just over 1900 feet elevation. Both blocks are trained in a goblet style. This wine has a lush texture that weaves together dried strawberries, ripe raspberries, licorice, thyme, sage and rosemary harmoniously with brilliant acidity on an elevated finish and can be aged for at least the next seven years.
